2. Purpose — an educational publication

The CRISPR Atlas is an educational publication about science and the gene-editing industry. It publishes general, impersonal information to the public at large. It does not provide medical advice, and it does not provide advice about any person's individual circumstances, medical or financial. Nothing here is tailored to any reader.

To the extent any part of this site discusses securities or companies, it does so as a publisher of general and regular circulation, and it relies on the publisher's exclusion from the definition of "investment adviser" under Section 202(a)(11) of the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940. 5. Accuracy and changes

Scientific, clinical, regulatory and company information changes constantly. We make a serious effort to keep records current and to date them honestly, but we do not warrant that any page is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. We may change, correct or remove content at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You may read, quote and link to this site freely. You may not: scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others; republish substantial portions as your own; use it to provide medical, legal or investment advice to others; or use it in any way that is unlawful. Automated access should use the public API and identify itself.

7. Intellectual property

Original text, structure, data compilation and artwork on this site belong to The CRISPR Atlas. News headlines, links and any quoted material remain the property of their publishers. Research papers remain the property of their authors and publishers; we summarise and link rather than reproduce. Gene symbols, trial identifiers and regulatory documents are public information from the bodies named.

8. API

The public API is offered free for non-commercial use, with attribution and a link back. Please cache responses and keep request rates reasonable. Access may be limited or withdrawn if usage threatens site availability.

9. External links

We link to publishers, regulators, registries, institutions and companies for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

10. Advertising and disclosure

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertising does not influence editorial content. There are currently no affiliate links on this site; if any are introduced, the relationship will be disclosed clearly wherever they appear.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the updated date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
